Does language matter?

I was asked by a co-worker, Pat, if the language used by the ghost is different to mine, does it matter, can I still communicate?

Before answering, I’d like you to consider this: Remember how it feels to get a birthday card from someone you care about. Remember how it feels to find your lost car keys. Remember when a friend you haven’t seen in a while calls your name from behind you.

All different, and if you can differentiate the feelings, there’s enough to have a conversation. Send a specific feeling to the ghost, listen for the reply and interpret it, back and forth. The language could be useful but you can manage without.

I’ve communicated, at a simple level, with American Indians at the Indian Hill Cemetery in Middletown, Ct, and got by, moving them all on. Maybe there were other non-english speakers, it didn’t matter.
